Closing the Books from Home or Anywhere Else Around the Globe
Presenter: Kelly Green, Senior EPM Consultant
Date: October 9th
Many accounting and finance employees are suddenly finding themselves working remotely worldwide – and companies still have a need to close the books on time on a monthly basis. This session will discuss our suggestions for successfully closing the books remotely, with specific coverage of the benefits of using Close Manager – an often-overlooked feature Oracle EPM Cloud Financial Consolidation and Close (FKA FCCS) and the on-prem Close Management application.
Using Close Manager can help automate the process by:
- Taking a team approach to financial close
- Creating schedules for quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting
- Assigning tasks to individuals
- Linking tasks in close schedules
Taking advantage of these features creates greater efficiency, mitigates the risk of delays, and reduces close cycles.
