Oracle Database Administrator, Brandon Webb will present APEX is Traveling the World Spatially Through Google! on Tuesday April 14 at 10:00 am MDT. Attendees can learn how to build their own geo-location app utilizing Oracle APEX and Google. The presentation will cover the history of spatial, spatial analytics and the geographic information system.
From there a live demo will cover:
- How to make calls to the Google API
- Pass in parameter to get latitude and longitude
- Setup procedure in a database to call Google API
- Store and retrieve geolocation data from Oracle JSON
- Analyze heat maps and more
