Datavail to Present at PASS Summit 2022
Broomfield, Colo. (Nov 9. 2022) – Datavail, a tech-enabled data management, applications, and business intelligence solutions provider, will be at PASS Data Community Summit 2022 on November 15-18, 2022, in Seattle, WA, at the Washington State Convention Center. Suyog Pagare, Senior SQL Server DBA, Datavail, will present “Migrating On-Premises to Amazon RDS for SQL Server” on Wednesday, November 16 at 9:30 a.m. PT. In this presentation, Pagare will start with the basics, such as AWS Regions, AZs, S3, and IAM, and then move on to teaching how to provision and monitor Amazon RDS for SQL Server instances, backup and recovery, and security. Attendees will learn the essentials of the AWS services required and how to migrate to Amazon RDS for SQL Server quickly.
JP Chen, Senior Director and Global Practice Lead of SQL Server Services, Datavail, will present “Migrating SQL Server to AWS – FastPass” on Wednesday, November 16 at 5:30 p.m. PT. In this presentation, Chen will discuss the best practices and options for moving SQL Server databases to the AWS Cloud.
Eric Russo, Senior Vice President of Database Services, Datavail, will moderate the panel discussion “Where We’ve Come From, Where We’re Going – A 20-Year Database Retrospective Panel Discussion” on Thursday, November 17 at 11:15 a.m. PT. This will be a lively discussion around database past, present, and future, featuring the insights of senior DBAs and database leadership derived from working in thousands of database environments across all industries and platforms.
