One of my most favorite features is the pluggable storage engine concept. It’s pretty much like we can convert the data from one engine to another engine and however we want to store the data, we can certainly do that. We don’t have to stick with one set of datasets. MySQL offers multiple security layers, so we can talk about some of those security layers and how we can make sure, you know, with the current increased cyber threat attacks. Directly it’s one of the most popular open source database solution out there in the world. Open source means it’s free, it’s cost effective, and we can save tons of amount of money on operational management and the licensing cost.
