Datavail to Present at PASS Summit 2019

Seattle, Wash. (Oct. 29, 2019) – Datavail, a tech-enabled data management, applications, business intelligence and software solutions provider, will be at PASS Summit 2019 in Seattle on November 5-8. The first presentation: SQL on Linux by Global Practice Lead of SQL Server JP Chen, will be on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 1:30 pm in Room 608. Attendees can explore the essential steps to get started and running SQL on Linux including how to get up to speed quickly on identifying the software and hardware required, plus the how-tos on installation, configuration, and administration for SQL on Linux.

The second presentation: Reduce Cost by Tuning Queries on Azure DBaaS by DBA Manager Rajnikant Tandel will be on Friday Nov. 8 at 8:00 am in Room 606. Attendees can discover how tuning the queries on Azure SQL Database not only improves the application performance but also saves in cost. Datavail will demonstrate some simple techniques of tuning the queries and show before and after performance differences.

Attendees will have an opportunity to not only attend the presentations but can also meet with a dedicated team of SQL Server experts to help organizations with their enterprise database solutions and management needs.
