Verifying Capacity in Server and Database Consolidations.” During his presentation, Wilton will explore how new capabilities in Oracle’s Real Application Testing feature provide certainty and reduce risk when databases are consolidated onto Oracle engineered systems, such as Oracle Exadata and the Oracle Database Appliance. Wilton will demonstrate how Real Application Testing combined with Oracle’s rich performance data helps customers understand the impact of consolidated workloads on a target system.

Additionally, Wilton will team with Ivan Oss, manager of application engineering at Velocity Technology Solutions, Inc., to present, “Conducting a Best Practices Assessment of Your Oracle Implementation,” on Wednesday, October 3 at 5 p.m. PST. The session is part of the applications stream and the security cross-stream track, and will take place at the Palace Hotel – Concert Room.
