Datavail To Present at RMOUG Training Days 2015

Presenting “Health Checks Using APEX” & “Tuning for Oracle Enterprise Manager”

Broomfield, Colo. — February 17, 2015 — Datavail, the national leader in database managed services and support, will present two sessions at the annual RMOUG Training Days on Thursday, February 19th, in addition to exhibiting during the show.

The first presentation, titled “Oracle Health Checks Using APEX,” will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will discuss the real value of database health checks, based on data from the thousands performed by Datavail for clients. Also, the session will explore the best practices for health checks and how to use APEX to standardize health checks across unlimited installed configurations.

The second presentation, “Tuning OEM Templates,” will be held at 2:45 p.m. and addresses Oracle Enterprise Manager out of the box and the overwhelming number of database alerts that are usually generated when using OEM without tuned templates. Based on Datavail’s experience the session will focus on how to tune OEM templates and other tools available to help reduce the noise from too many alerts so participants can address only those alerts that matter.
Presenting these sessions is Datavail’s Senior Applications Tuner Chuck Ezell. A seasoned speaker, Ezell brings more than 18 years’ experience and supports some of the world’s largest retailers with database performance tuning for their internal applications.
