Datavail to Present at Oracle OpenWorld Conference
Presenting “Using Oracle Enterprise Manager for Enterprise Monitoring”
SAN FRANCISCO – September 25, 2014 – Datavail will present a session about using Oracle Enterprise Manager to reduce the number of alerts on a database on Sunday, September 28, from 2:30 until 3:15 p.m. at the Oracle OpenWorld Conference at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
The presentation will address how to get more out of OEM implementation, including using customized templates to help identify “real” actionable alerts, customized thresholds and metrics for an environment or application and how to keep OEM tuned and working efficiently. Datavail created a proprietary tool called “Alert Optimizer” specifically designed to reduce the number of alerts received from OEM to only those that are meaningful.
In this session, held in 306 Moscone South, the presenters will also examine how Datavail’s Alert Optimizer can help trend data (alert volume by day, alert volume by week, alert volume by Target Name, alert volume by Metric Name, and hourly alert volume) from the OEM repository.
Datavail will also have a booth at the conference where experts will demonstrate Datavail’s Alert Optimizer. Attendees are encouraged to stop by booth 2432 to meet with Datavail’s expert Oracle DBAs.
