Datavail at Kscope25 Dallas: Oracle, AI & More

Author: Gurmeet Bhatia | 6 min read | July 17, 2025

Kscope25, held this year in Dallas, brought together the brightest minds from the Oracle community—developers, architects, and business leaders—focused on pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with Oracle technologies.

This year’s conference spotlighted:

  • Oracle APEX: Low-code application development
  • EPM Cloud: Enterprise performance management
  • AI & Machine Learning: Embedded across Oracle solutions
  • Data & Analytics: Modern architectures, cloud platforms, and automation
  • Cloud Infrastructure & Integration: Simplifying complex environments

It was the place to learn, share, and build what’s next in Oracle’s world.

Datavail Brought the State Fair to the Show Floor

We made sure the Datavail booth was the place to be—bringing a Texas State Fair vibe to Kscope:

  • “Knock ‘Em Down” and other fun games
  • Fresh popcorn to spark meaningful conversations
  • Datavailopoly—our signature game, built by DBAs for DBAs, helping visitors learn the ups and downs of database management in a fun, interactive way
  • And yes, one lucky visitor walked away with 30 pounds of Texas beef!

But beyond the games, it was about the conversations. Whether it was customers modernizing with Oracle Cloud, exploring automation, or looking to get more from their data—our team was there to help.

Our A-team was out in full force at Kscope25— (David Silverstrim, Jonathan Coreil, Jesus Dominguez Stephanie McMenimen, Scott Fitzgerald, Dana Shirley, Matthew Clymer, Donna Boyle, engaging with attendees, sharing insights, and showcasing how Datavail helps organizations modernize and innovate with Oracle technologies.

Presentation Spotlight: “APEX & AI – Building Intelligent Enterprise Apps Like a Pro”

It was a full-house when Jonathan Coreil, Datavail’s Client Executive, took the stage to dive deep into the intersection of Oracle APEX and Artificial Intelligence.

Jonathan didn’t just talk theory—he walked the audience through real-world examples, showing how organizations are already building intelligent enterprise apps that solve practical business problems.

Key Highlights from the Session:

Rapid Development at Scale:
Jonathan showed how teams can use Oracle APEX’s low-code platform to go from idea to production faster—reducing development cycles while maintaining enterprise-grade security and scalability.

AI + APEX in Action:
He showcased how embedding AI services—like natural language processing, machine learning models, and predictive analytics—directly into APEX applications transforms static apps into dynamic, decision-making tools.
Example use cases included:

  • Automated invoice processing with AI-driven document recognition
  • Predictive analytics for supply chain optimization
  • Natural language chatbots integrated into business workflows

Beyond APEX: AI Integration Across Oracle Stack
Jonathan emphasized that the AI conversation isn’t limited to APEX. He highlighted how AI is increasingly embedded across Oracle EPM, ERP, and analytics platforms, creating opportunities for smarter forecasting, automated reconciliations, and improved business agility.

Matthew Clymer, our business development champ, joined a live podcast at Kscope25, sharing insights on how Datavail is driving impact with Oracle technologies. If you’re around and want to talk tech, strategy, or outcomes — our team is still here and happy to connect!

AI Takes Center Stage: Oracle’s Shift from Cloud-First to AI-First Innovation

The overarching theme at Kscope25 was clear: Oracle’s future is intelligent, integrated, and AI-powered. Across keynotes, technical sessions, and hallway conversations, the spotlight was on how AI is reshaping Oracle technologies—whether in APEX for rapid app development, EPM for smarter financial processes, or Fusion Applications for embedded automation. Oracle’s Redwood UX, evolving cloud infrastructure, and AI-powered services like OCI Generative AI, Autonomous Database, and Digital Assistants all showed that the shift is from cloud-first to AI-first transformation. The community’s focus was not just on using Oracle products but on unlocking actionable insights and automation at every layer of the enterprise.
