Like the broader field of data science, however, Oracle EBS is currently undergoing a minor crisis as companies struggle to find the DBAs they need. In a 2015 survey, 20 percent of data professionals said that they planned to retire within the next decade, while 70 percent said that they were 45 or older. Conversely, just 6 percent of data professionals said that they were under 35 years old.
