Extending WebLogic Domain

The basis of all WebLogic platforms starts with a domain comprising one or more managed server(s) and cluster(s), all managed by a single Administration Server. All JEE applications, services or components are usually deployed in the managed servers and/or clusters. In this presentation, we discuss extending the WebLogic domain beyond its original configuration.

We start by illustrating the components of WebLogic domain infrastructure, discuss the constraints, recommendations to follow when setting the WebLogic domain infrastructure. We continue by explaining the concept of the WebLogic domain extension process and the steps of extending the WebLogic domain.
