Matt Calhoun Contributes to the Expansion of Datavail’s Vision As VP of Development

BROOMFIELD, COLORADO – Datavail, a remote managed database administration company, today named Matt Calhoun Vice President of Development. Calhoun will lead the architecture and development efforts on the next generation of Datavail Delta, the company’s proprietary monitoring and management product.  

“Matt is a very experienced technology leader who has significant experience in the architecture, development, and management of software products,” said Datavail’s Chief Executive Officer, Mark Perlstein. "The monitoring and management capabilities Delta provides are critical to our success in supporting the evolving needs of our customers' database environments. The next generation of the product will further enhance existing functionality for our DBAs, allowing them to better support our customers. We are fortunate to have such a superior contributor taking the lead on this important aspect of our business.”

Calhoun brings more than 20 years of software architecture, development, and infrastructure experience to Datavail, having successfully completed development projects for organizations such as Credit Suisse First Boston, Sharp Electronics, and Automated Data Processing (ADP). Prior to joining Datavail, Calhoun also served as Chief Technology Officer at i/o Data Centers, Chief Technology Officer of CIBER’s IT Outsourcing Division and as a Principal Consultant at Alphanet Solutions.
